Yes, they certainly can!
Witness the latest one to visit our InBox before getting displayed and tagged below for the world to view and search engines to find (love the light of day) as a prime example of an email scam “Hook” letter. See and hopefully learn.
We leaned more about UNCIEF scams as a result of this email that will help us provide access to additional online anti-scam forces, for example The Spam Diaries at The Encyclopedia of Spam, SpamEater and Spam Tracking Page.
(Yes, sometimes the occasion of a spam scam email can do some good!)
