About
Venditoris.com is published by the MeasurementMedia Division of Temperatures.com, Inc. as an ad-free part of our our Web publishing. We’ve seen the spirit of openness and honesty trying to break through on The Web and wish to support it.
No one is more harmed by skillful liars and cheats than the consumer. Unfortunately, too many of them pose as businessmen and justify (at least to themselves) that ethics is relative only on Sunday, if at all, that “this is just business” and “why shouldn’t I do it when everyone else is”.
Similarly, too many of our trusted elected and appointed officials fall victim to greed and wind up working for themselves instead of their electorate. The actions of some recent US Congressmen is a blight on our nation’s integrity and history and something that needs real sunlight on it, if it is to be stopped.
The day of the Internet and the open Web is here with scores of resources at the watch, pointing out the excesses, the greed, the rip-offs, the scams and the crooks. We will help identify, list and promote those causes wherever and whenever we find them on and off the Web.
We see this as a public service, nothing less.
If you are able to help us continue this website, consider donating something to the cause at the Donation page.
Sincerely,
The staff at the MeasurementMedia Division of Temperatures.com, Inc.

Venditoris is the plural of the Latin word “Venditor”. It means “Sellers”. We’ve probably all heard the famous adage “Canveat emptor” that means Buyer (emptor) Beware!
However, the seller (Venditor) can, and often is, the source of any need to BEWARE!
That’s contrary to what the majority of B2B & B2C Commercial sales people are taught. They learn that the best role for an organization and their Sales people is to help their customers, to build a strong link of trust and support.
Politics is taught in school to be a similar enterprise. Work on behalf of your constituents, not yourself. In practice, too many of our politicians seem to say one thing and do the opposite. But they usually meet up a fate described by the observation made, I think by Abe Lincoln, “You can’t fool all the people, all the time”
Too, bad there seems to be a sneaky and conniving streak in some people that make them, and the companies, or office that they run, to do just the opposite.
We call that the culture of Greed and the focus of “Me”. Fortunately, that part of Society is a small minority. Unfortunately, they are also the ones that get the most news when they get caught with a hand in the cookie jar.
We think the adage should be “Caveat Venditoris” or “Sellers Beware”, because the buyers are becoming wiser and urging more people to learn and avoid or toss out unscrupulous sellers and politicians; all those with a focus of “Me”.
We think we are helping just a little by providing more sunshine on the less well known news of the “Me” people.
